What Is the Difference Between ADD and ADHD?

It seems like I don't hear anything about ADD these days. What is the difference between ADD and ADHD?

Answer

ADD stands for attention deficit disorder, and ADHD stands for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. ADD is an older term that was changed to ADHD in 1994, but they refer to the same disorder. Another term that has sometimes been used is AD/HD.
